When we turn on the lights or start the dishwasher, we rarely think about all the hard work that goes into delivering the energy to our home. On April 10th, electric cooperatives across the country honored the men and women who work in challenging and often dangerous conditions to keep the lights on.
Lineworkers serve on the front lines of our nation’s energy needs. They leave their families and put their lives on the line 365 days a year to keep the power on. We are proud to recognize all electric lineworkers for the services they perform around the clock in difficult conditions to keep power flowing and protect the public’s safety.
