How-to Videos

From the inside of your refrigerator to your outside lawn, we’ve got some great videos to show you how to keep your home energy efficient, saving you money.

Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFLs)

Incandescent bulbs are ancient history. Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFLs) are energy efficient bulbs that save so much energy, they pay for themselves in roughly six months. Over all, they could save you $40 per bulb over its lifespan.

Think about all the light bulbs in your home. That’s a lot of savings. We’ve got the graph to prove it. See the number of incandescent bulbs in your home that could be replaced with CFLs and see how much money you could be saving.

Light Emitting Diode (LED)

While LED bulbs may cost more than incandescent bulbs at the time of purchase, they can last 25 times longer, meaning you buy fewer bulbs over time. They use 70-90 percent less energy saving you money every month on your electric bill. Because they are directional, LED lights are excellent for under-cabinet lighting and illuminating wall décor.
